What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. All fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide participate and Texas celebrates on the first Tuesday in October.

Many Rice Military and surrounding local businesses and restaurants will take part in a variety of activities/exhibits at the Depelchin Children's Center grounds such as, safety demonstrations, visits from emergency personnel - HPD and Precinct 1 Constable, face painting, dog costume contest, and much, much more — stay tuned! It's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, sign up for Precinct 1 Constable Contract Deputy Patrol and renew your RMCC membership!
